DANVILLE, CA — A Danville man accused of felony battery reportedly barricaded himself inside his home for several hours until he eventually surrendered to police, authorities said Tuesday.
At 9:11 p.m. on Sunday, the Danville Police Department said officers received reports of a felony battery carried out by Kevin James Tse, 44 at the 1000 block of Hill Meadow Place in Danville.
When officers arrived, they found that Tse had barricaded himself inside his home, police said.

Tse was arrested and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of felony battery.
"The Danville Police Department wishes to thank the community for their cooperation during this incident. The safety of our residents remains our top priority, and we are relieved that this situation was resolved peacefully," police said.
