DANVILLE, CA — Being named one of Northern California’s nicest towns is no small feat. This region of towering redwoods, sun-soaked wineries, majestic mountains, and shimmering coastline is full of towns that are just as beautiful as the landscape surrounding them.

Travel website WorldAtlas placed Danville third on its list of the “11 Nicest Small Towns in Northern California.”

“This dynamic town in the San Ramon Valley impresses guests with its charming blend of history, entertainment, and adventure,” the ranking reads, citing the charming downtown, the Blackhawk Museum, Blackhawk Plaza, and the Village Theatre & Art Gallery, and Diablo Vista Park as top attractions.
