Danville Residents Asked To Fill Out Property Damage Survey
The survey will help Contra Costa County become eligible for individual and small business assistance.

DANVILLE, CA – Danville residents and businesses that suffered storm damage are asked to fill out a survey so that Contra Costa County can qualify for Individual Assistance and Small Business Administration aid from the California Office of Emergency Management or FEMA. In order to qualify, the county must demonstrate significant impacts on private property.
Contra Costa County estimates it spent a total of $12 million in road and debris cleanup, though that figure is subject to change.
Residents or businesses who have sustained property damage can fill out this form to help the county qualify for state and federal assistance.

Though money isn’t yet available and may not be for some time, Danville residents are receiving some bureaucratic easing. Small business owners who have experienced storm-related issues such as flooding and power outages will have their interest and penalties waived if they miss their original tax due date, according to the state's Tax and Fee Administration.
The waiver applies to small business owners with tax due dates between Jan. 4, 2023, and Jan. 31, 2023.
