Danville Student Qualifies For World Lacrosse Championship

DANVILLE, CA — Danville resident Katie Lin has qualified for the World Lacrosse Women's Championship, which will be held next year in Tokyo.

Lin, a dual citizen of the United States and Taiwan, grew up playing lacrosse with the local Diablo Scorpions Lacrosse Club in elementary and middle school. She now plays for Carondolet High School, a Catholic high school in Concord, and for the Chinese Taipei World Lacrosse team, which recently qualified for the World Championships at the Asia Pacific Women's Lacrosse Championship in Australia.
