Danville Town Council Nomination Period Nearing
Starting next week, Danville residents 18 and older can apply for three open seats on the Town Council.

DANVILLE, CA — Anyone interested in running for three open positions on the Danville Town Council can register from Monday, July 15 through Friday, Aug. 9. If an incumbent fails to file nomination papers, the filing period is extended to Aug. 15 for non-incumbents.
So far, incumbents Newell Arnerich and Renee Morgan have announced their intention to run for re-election.
Eligible candidates must be 18 or older, reside within the Town of Danville’s incorporated boundaries, and be a registered voter at the time nomination papers are issued. Interested parties should make an appointment with the city clerk to receive and submit campaign documents, which should be completed and filed before the end of the nomination period.
