Devil Mountain Run Set For Sunday In Danville

Registration is still open to brave the "Mile of Truth," race with your dog, or more. See below for links and closures.

DANVILLE, CA — Downtown Danville is preparing for the Devil Mountain Run on Sunday morning, which offers 5K, 10K, one-mile “Mile of Truth”, kids, and dog race options.

Registration is still available for any of those races here. Cash prizes of up to $600 are available to the winners of the Mile of Truth.

The events will take place from 6:30 a.m., when day-of registration and the vendor exposition opens, and noon. The following streets will be closed between 4:30 a.m. and noon, according to the town:

  • Railroad Avenue between San Ramon Valley Boulevard and Prospect Avenue
  • Hartz Avenue between Hartz Way & Railroad Avenue
  • Southbound lanes of Danville Boulevard will detour via El Portal & La Gonda Way
  • Wayne Avenue between Danville Boulevard and Ironhorse Trail
  • Southbound lanes of San Ramon Valley Boulevard between Diablo Road and Wayne Avenue
  • Camino Ramon and Fostoria Way
  • Sycamore Valley Road at Iron Horse trail crossing
