Dog Escapes Onto Danville Roof

Firefighters rescued a dog who had escaped out of a second-floor window, the SRVFPD said.

DANVILLE, CA — Danville may have witnessed its first "dog on a hot tin roof" Saturday, when firefighters rescued a dog who escaped from a second-floor window.

A neighbor called the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District. Responders on Truck 31 placed the dog back in the window just as the residents were arriving home.
