Emily Gura of Danville, CA, Serves as an NAU Community Mentor

FLAGSTAFF, AZ - Danville resident, Emily Gura, was selected as a Community Mentor for the Health and Human Services residential learning community at Northern Arizona University's residential campus.

Community Mentors are upper division students who have a similar academic focus or area of interest as the students participating in the community. In their role as a peer mentor, they are a resource for their Residential Learning Community (RLC) students. Through weekly and individual meetings and additional programming, they help guide RLC students through the transition to college, introduce members to the campus community, and provide fun opportunities to form friendships.
