DANVILLE, CA — The June 7 primary ballot has either reached your mailbox or is on its way. To give our readers quick access to what you need to know before casting your votes, we’ve compiled races in your area and information on how to vote.

Here’s a look at local races the Danville Patch is following in the Tri-Valley area.

Alameda County:

16th State Assembly District

  • Rebecca Bauer-Kahan: Democrat, incumbent, mother
  • Joseph Rubay: Republican, small business owner

Contra Costa County:

16th State Assembly District (shared with Alameda County)

Sheriff

  • Maintenance Service Center, 1000 Sherburne Hills Rd.
