DANVILLE, CA — Marky Mark is headed to Danville.

Academy Award-nominated movie star and former rapper Mark Wahlberg will be at the Danville Costco Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to noon to sign bottles of Flecha Azul Tequila, a brand he invested in and promotes.

Flecha Azul, literally “blue arrow,” is a premium brand crafted in Tequila, Mexico founded by oil executive Aron Marquez and pro-golfer Abraham Ancer. Wahlberg invested in the brand after meeting them in 2019.

“We’re all family-oriented, self-made guys and I was just really loving what they were doing [with Flecha Azul],” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “And I loved their story; everything that they’ve done is so similar to what I’m trying to build on my own, one step at a time.”

Bottles are on sale at Costco and many other liquor stores, usually priced between $50-100. See here to find a location.
