'May The 4th' Star Wars Celebration Returning To Danville
Feel the Force in Danville this year with pancakes, Jedi training, a costume contest, a movie showing, and more.
DANVILLE, CA — Each year, Danville greets its Jedis with the same blessing: “May the Fourth be with you!”
The town is celebrating its 9th annual Star Wars bonanza on, of course, May the 4th. The festivities will begin with a family pancake breakfast either from 8:15 to 9:15, or 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Click on the links to pre-register for $10. Pre-registration is mandatory.
Families can work off the pancakes with a free scavenger hunt, which will take place from 11 to 3:30 p.m. Lists are available at the Danville Community Center.

Anyone with costumes is encouraged to stick around for a costume contest, which will take place at 6 p.m. on the Town Green. The contest will be followed by a nighttime showing of “Return of the Jedi.”
