Meals on Wheels Diablo Region Celebrates Lucky Give Back Bag Program
Meals on Wheels Diablo Region celebrates its selection as a Lucky Give Back Bag Program beneficiary in Danville.

Meals on Wheels Diablo Region has been selected as a beneficiary of the Lucky Give Back Bag Program for the month of January. The Lucky Give Back Bag Program is a reusable bag program that creates community support for local food banks and hunger relief organizations. The Program’s goal is to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
Meals on Wheels Diablo Region was selected as the January beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Lucky located at 660 San Ramon Valley Boulevard, Danville. MOW Diablo Region will receive a $1 donation every time a $2.50 Give Back Bag is purchased at this location during January unless the customer chooses another beneficiary through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.
“We are pleased to be chosen by Lucky Supermarket,” said Caitlin Sly, Executive Director of MOW Diablo Region. “Seniors are the hidden hungry in our community and this support will help us deliver free, nutritious meals to this vulnerable population.”
