Moonlight Movies, Concerts In The Park Starting In June

Spend your Friday and Saturday nights enjoying free movies and concerts in Danville's parks.

DANVILLE, CA — Grab a lawn chair and a picnic blanket, because Danville’s Moonlight Movies is starting again June 14. Each Friday from June 14-July 26, the town will offer a free film at the Town Green. Evenings start at 6:30 p.m. with games and activities, followed by a movie when the sun goes down. The schedule is as follows:

  • June 14: Aquaman (2018, PG13)
  • June 28: Aladdin, live action (2019, PG)
  • July 14: Angels in the Outfield (1994, PG)
  • July 26: Super Mario Bros (2023, PG)

On Saturday, June 22, free concerts will begin at various parks throughout town. Each concert will last from 6–8 p.m., with a 20 minute intermission. The first three concerts will be at Oak Hill Park, with a rotating selection of food trucks. The final concert will be on the Town Green. The schedule is as follows:

  • June 22: MomoTomboSF (Latin rock)
  • July 6: Jackson Michelson (country)
  • July 20: Judd Hoos (alternative/indie/rock)
  • Aug. 3: Unauthorized Rolling Stones (classic rock)

Parking for the first three concerts is available at the Oak Hill Park Community Center and Monte Vista High School parking lots. Parking for the Town Green is available at the Village Theatre and Front Street lots.
