Her children meant everything to her. She was a highly involved parent at the San Ramon Valley Unified School District and active soccer mom in the Mustang Soccer League. Violette loved the magic of holidays and giving gifts. She spent months preparing for birthdays and Christmas, making us think she was part elf. She was passionate about women’s rights and animals. She loved her 15 cousins like siblings. The cousins would say she was the favorite cousin, and we are pretty sure she secretly told each one of them that they were her favorite.
Violette will be remembered for her goofy wit, fierce loyalty, deep compassion, and generous kindness of heart. We will forever remember her beautiful smile and gleaming eyes. She is survived by her husband Brent, two children Ella and Gavin, parents Jane and Bob, sister Rain, her adopted college-sister Tina Zubrod; and a legacy of touching the lives of so many other friends, family, colleagues, and students.
