Old Oak Tree Lighting Returning To Danville
The town's beloved tradition will return for its 49th season later this month.

DANVILLE, CA — 'Tis almost the season. Danville will welcome in the holiday season with its 49th annual Lighting of the Old Oak Tree, which is set this year for Friday, Nov. 28.
The ceremony, which has drawn crowds of up to 10,000, will feature a lighting of the tree, live music, visits from Santa Claus and the Snow Angel, and special deals at downtown Danville shops.
Head to the famed 350-year-old oak tree on Diablo Road at 5 p.m. to enjoy all the wintry fun.
