Outdoor Activities Will Resume Today
Reduced smoke from the Morgan Fire will clear the air for outdoor practice today in Danville.
The Town of Danville announced that all outdoor classes and leagues will be held as per usual today.
Heat indices were lower and smoke from the Morgan Fire was reduced, allowing the resumption of activities.
Recreation Services Manager Henry Perezalonso reminds residents that air quality is not completely back to normal so still take some precautions.
“It’s always good to stay hydrated when you’re going to be engaging in physical activities outside during the warm weather,” Perezalonso stated.
“And when the air quality is below normal, it’s always good to just be careful, especially those folks with respiratory ailments.”
