Pedestrian Suffers 'Major Injuries' After Being Struck In Danville Parking Lot: Police

A man was walking on the sidewalk when he was struck by a vehicle turning inside the parking lot, police said.

DANVILLE, CA — A pedestrian walking on a Danville sidewalk sustained major injuries when he was struck by a vehicle turning inside a parking lot, according to the Danville Police Department.

The collision occurred Monday at around 10:45 a.m. in the parking lot of the Iron Horse Plaza at 345 Railroad Avenue, police said. Emergency crews provided medical aid until the victim was transported to a local hospital.

The driver, who did not sustain any injuries, is cooperating with police.
