DANVILLE, CA — American flags festooned downtown Danville last Friday for its 50th annual Kiwanis-Danville Parade. The giant parade brought everything from Revolutionary War soldiers to flag-draped trucks and guitars to celebrate the country's birthday.

“I have been coming to the Danville Fourth of July Parade for nearly 40 years, and it continues to be one of the most meaningful traditions in our community. As Mayor, it is an honor to uphold this cherished celebration that brings us together in pride, patriotism, and hometown spirit. This 50th anniversary is a true testament to the heart of Danville,” Danville Mayor Renee Morgan said in a statement.
