Renovated Diablo Vista Park Playground Opening Next Week

DANVILLE, CA — Diablo Vista Park's playground will reopen next Tuesday after roughly five months of renovation.

The new playground features updated, nature-inspired equipment like slides, overhead climbers, steppers, instruments, swings, and an electronic pulse table tennis game. It also offers accessible equipment for children with limited mobility. There will also be shaded shaded seating areas, expanded picnic spaces, outdoor fitness stations, and refreshed landscaping offering views of Danville's rolling hills. The "Large Serpent - Scarlatti" sculpture underwent a careful restoration to preserve its artistry.
