San Ramon Valley Boulevard Construction Postponed Due To Rain

Planned work will begin next week due to atmospheric rivers, the town said.

DANVILLE, CA — Planned construction along San Ramon Valley Boulevard has been postponed until March 17 due to rain, the town of Danville announced.

Work on the San Ramon Valley Boulevard Improvements Project was set to begin Tuesday at the town limits near the intersection with Fostoria Way. However, due to two atmospheric rivers arriving Wednesday, work has been postponed. Some 1 to 2 inches are expected to drench lower elevations, with 2 to 3 inches in the North Bay and coastal mountains expected. Thunderstorms are possible, and some pockets could produce heavy rain, gusty winds and light hail, according to the National Weather Service.

The work will now be completed in early April, the town anticipates. See here for more information.
