San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Launches New App

The "SRV Fire" app allows residents to file and track requests, track recent power outages, and more.

DANVILLE, CA — Residents of Danville and San Ramon now have a one-stop-shop as a hot summer kicks into high gear, bringing with it wildfires, record-breaking heat, and regular power outages.

The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District has launched a free new app called SRV Fire, available at the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Through the app, residents can file requests, access the PG&E outage map and info site, access the SRVFPD website and social media pages, and access the district’s page on Exterior Hazard Abatement program, which aims to reduce wildfire risk by managing local vegetation. Residents can also track the status of their requests through the app.

The app is powered by GOGov, which provides software and mobile apps for local government agencies.
