SRVUSD Seeking 'Teachers For Tomorrow' Residency Applicants
The residency offers aspiring teachers the chance to spend a year one-on-one with an SRVUSD mentor teacher.
DANVILLE, CA — The San Ramon Valley Unified School District is accepting applications for its Teachers for Tomorrow Residency Program, a partnership with Saint Mary’s College to train future special education and STEM teachers.
The department is seeking 20 candidates who will spend the 2026-27 school year working alongside a mentor teacher in an SRVUSD classroom, gaining hands-on experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and student support. The residency will be paired with coursework that leads to a preliminary teaching credential.

- A stipend of $32,500 for tuition and expenses
- One-on-one mentorship with SRVUSD teachers
- Priority hiring in SRVUSD upon successful completion
- $500 reimbursement for exam fees
Virtual information sessions will take place on Thursday, Nov. 13 and Thursday, Dec. 4 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. See here to register.
