Summer Music & Movies Come To Danville

Enjoy free family movies and concerts on Friday evenings at the Town Green and Oak Hill Park.

DANVILLE, CA — Summer’s here, and in Danville, that means Music in the Park and Moonlight Movies outdoor entertainment. All events are free, and guests are invited to bring food, beverages, and chairs.

The Moonlight Movies series started last Friday, with a showing of “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.” The schedule for the rest of the summer is as follows:

Evenings start on the Town Green at 6:30 p.m. with family games and activities. Movies begin at 8:15, or when the sun goes down.

The Music in the Park series returns this Friday at Oak Hill Park. Concerts begin at 6 and end at 8, with a 20-minute intermission.

The schedule is as follows. All shows take place at Oak Hill Park, except for the Aug. 5 at the Town Green.

Parking is available at the Oak Hill Community Center and Monte Vista High School lots. On Aug. 5, Front Street will be closed to traffic, so guests are advised to arrive early. Parking will be available in the Village Theatre and Front Street lots.
