DANVILLE, CA — Support Danville students this weekend at the 38th annual Run for Education.

The run is organized by the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation, which raises and donates millions of dollars each year to the San Ramon Valley Unified School District with the help of its 35 campus fundraising partners, the foundation said on its website.

People may complete their runs at home, at the gym or in their neighborhoods, but in-person events will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at 2700 Camino Ramon.

Thirty percent of proceeds will benefit the school fundraising team of your choice. Each runner will receive a pledge page and 70 percent of those proceeds will go straight to the school of your choice.

On Nov. 1 the Rotary Club of San Ramon will hold its Auction for Education, which raised nearly $45,000 last year, according to the foundation.
