Taste Tri-Valley Restaurant Week Starts Feb. 21

The week kicks off with a cocktail reception and four-course meal with expert wine pairings prepared by the region's top chefs.

DANVILLE, CA — Get your appetites ready, because Taste Tri-Valley is almost ready to get started. From Friday, Feb. 21 to Sunday, March 2, the region's best restaurants will offer 10 days of special events, unique menu offerings, and exclusive deals.

The festivities begin Thursday, Feb. 20 with a cocktail reception at Crush'd in Danville, followed by a dinner at Tides Restaurant. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception hosted by Chef Francis Hogan of Crush'd and Sabio on Main in Pleasanton.

From 6:45 to 9 p.m., guests will head to Tides to enjoy a four-course tasting menu crafted by Chefs Jose Hernandez from Forbes Mill, Chef Elvin Sanchez from Tides, and Chef Rodney Worth from The Peasant and The Pear. The meal will be accompanied by wines curated by Tides sommelier Marc Dumont. Tickets cost $165, which include the cocktail reception, four-course dinner, and live auction.

On Friday, Feb. 28 from 6-8 p.m., Oyo in Pleasanton will host a South American Street Food Party. Guests will enjoy bites and cocktails from South America and the Caribbean, accompanied by the rhythms of a steel drum band.

The rest of the week will include a Wine & Cheese Pairing Release Party, a Beer vs. Wine Dinner at BottleTaps, the Livermore Brew Crawl, and much more.

Guests who use a mobile pass at participating restaurant will be entered to win this year's Grand Prize: a two-night stay at the Pleasanton Marriott, two full-day electric bike rentals from Pedego Livermore, two tickets to the Blackhawk Museum, and $250 in gift certificates to local restaurants and wineries. Winners will be announced Friday, March 7.
