DANVILLE, CA — One of Walnut Creek's favorite coffee shops is up and running in Danville. Tellus Coffee, which is famous for its ethically sourced coffee, juices, and full brunch menu, recently opened a bright, airy, plant-filled location in the Danville Livery Shopping Center at 406 Sycamore Valley Road.

Owners Janay and Josh founded the Walnut Creek location after their honeymoon in Italy inspired them to open an inviting café experience where patrons can enjoy fresh, sustainable coffee in a calming environment.

"At Tellus, we believe in bringing that thoughtfulness to every step of the coffee-making process in hopes of providing you not only the freshest brew, but a breath of fresh air and a calming space to enjoy the moment in," the owners noted on their website.

Tellus offers ethically sourced coffee from around the world prepared in a zero-emissions roaster. They offer a large menu of pour-overs, espressos, teas, lattes, matches, cold brews, and much more. Their coffee beans are also available for purchase at the store and online.

In addition to coffee, Tellus offers a number of teas, juices, and iced drinks. Owner Janay McCullough is a classically trained pastry chef who used to run a catering business, so they also offer all varieties of pastry like croissants and pain au chocolat.

Finally, they offer a full brunch menu with tasty items like Belgian waffles, smoked salmon avocado toast, empanadas, bagels, and more.
