DANVILLE, CA — Power is restored to all but 216 customers in Danville and Alamo as of 5:40 p.m. Monday.

Roughly 5,000 customers were without power in Danville and Alamo as of 9:40 a.m. Monday, according to PG&E. 3,500 were without power in a huge stretch west of Hartz Avenue and near Osage Park, and 3,523 were without power in Alamo and Walnut Creek combined. The powerful atmospheric river drenching most of the state is likely behind the outages, according to PG&E.

The outage began Sunday at around 4:30 p.m.
