'Totally Trains' Exhibit Returns To Danville
The Museum of the San Ramon Valley's popular model trains exhibit returns Saturday under the theme of "Trains and the Postal Service."
DANVILLE, CA — One of the San Ramon Valley’s most cherished museum exhibits is chugging back into town. “Totally Trains,” the model train exhibit at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley, returns Saturday, June 29.
This year’s theme is “Trains and the Postal Service.” Children will be able to sort mail and packages on trains, just as mail carriers once did. The exhibit will also feature a large collection of Plasticville buildings, and model trains of the past chugging through mountains, canyons, and a replica of old-fashioned Danville.
“Totally Trains” is open at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. until Aug. 25. A $20 Family Train Pass will allow visitors to see the trains multiple times over the summer.
