Two Danville Men Arrested in iPhone Robbery at McDonald's
Victim intended to sell phone, police said. Arrested were Andrey Neshcheret, 23, and Jack Young, 18.
Danville Police have arrested two Danville men in connection with an iPhone robbery Thursday outside the restaurant on Camino Tassajara.
According to a press release issued by police, the theft happened at about 9 p.m. Thursday when the victim was trying to sell an iPhone 4 outside the McDonald’s.
When the buyer showed up, he pulled out a knife and robbed the victim. After the robber ran away, the victim returned home and called police about 30 minutes later.
When the victim returned to McDonald’s to meet with police he spotted the robber inside the restaurant with another man.

The two fled, and a police K-9 unit and helicopter were unable to find them Thursday evening.
Detectives and patrol officers conducting the investigation determined the two suspects were partners and figured out their identities.
Arrested Friday night were Andrey Neshcheret, 23, of Danville and Jack Young, 18, of Danville.
Nescheret was booked for robbery and brandishing a deadly weapon. Â Young was booked for robbery. Â Both are being held at the Martinez Detention Facility on $50,000 bail.
