Watch: Danville Wins Little League Intermediate World Series
The team beat Seoul 5-2 and emerged undefeated from the series.

DANVILLE, CA — In a proud moment for the Tri-Valley, Danville Little League won the 2022 50/70 Little League Intermediate World Series at Max Baer Field in Livermore.
On Sunday, Aug. 7, the team went up against the West Seoul Little Team from Seoul, South Korea, which had emerged from four games undefeated. Danville also went into the game undefeated, having beaten Wailuku, Hawaii and Georgetown, Indiana two times.
Danville scored four runs, beating Seoul 5-2.

“THANK YOU to all our of family, friends, new friends, & every single one of you that have supported any of these boys along the way! We are honored and grateful!” the team said in an Instagram post.
“And to these WORLD CHAMPS…CONGRATULATIONS!!! We love you! Lastly if you could have seen the after party, you would have smiled from ear to ear. South Korea, California and several other teams coming together eating, dancing, laughing, tiktoking…what this is all about!”
The team was coached by Matt Hill, Dan Lynch, and Brian Sardelich.
