Where To See Firework Shows Around Danville

Events are back for the 4th of July weekend after a pandemic hiatus.

DANVILLE, CA — It's almost time to celebrate America's birthday.

If you haven't decided exactly what's on the agenda for the 4th of July holiday weekend, here's a popular option in Danville.

The July 4 Kiwanis Parade is on Hartz Avenue and San Ramon Valley Boulevard and starts at San Ramon Valley High School at 9 a.m.

"This year's parade theme is Celebrating our local Olympians to recognize our local community members who have taken part in the Olympic movement," the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley said.

More than 100 groups are scheduled to participate. The parade takes about 2-3 hours.

The route has been modified to end at Town and Country Drive.
