85-Year-Old Hit by Car in Carmel Mountain Ranch
The accident occurred in the 11000 block of Ted Williams Parkway about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.
An 85-year-old man suffered severe injuries when he was hit by a car while illegally crossing a street in Carmel Mountain Ranch, police said.
The accident occurred in the 11000 block of Ted Williams Parkway about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.
Stafford said the pedestrian crossed the street against a "Don't Walk" signal as a car was making a legal left turn.

The pedestrian suffered fractures to his pelvis and an arm, a brain bleed and lacerations and was taken to a hospital, Stafford said.
