Edison Utility Project Slows Traffic on Temple Avenue
Cal Poly Pomona is warning commuters about the affect of lane closures on traffic in the area of the campus.

Cal Poly Pomona is warning commuting students about a Southern California Edison that is affecting traffic on Temple Avenue.
Work on an ongoing utility project near the 57 Freeway is slowing traffic on eastbound Temple, according to the university's website. The right lane of eastbound Temple will be closed between Pomona Boulevard and the freeway every day through Nov. 30.
Construction also will call for the closure of a second lane along the street as well, which will reduce Temple to one lane, according to university officials.

"The lane closures have already resulted in extended delays for those traveling up the hill, away from campus," officials wrote on the website.
The lanes going westbound are not affected by the construction.
