Boy, 10, Thrown From Water Slide On Opening Weekend For 'The Wave': Report

Breaking: The boy appears to be in good condition, according to the report.

DUBLIN, CA — 'The Wave' water park in Dublin seems to have gotten off to a rocky start. A ten-year-old boy was flung from one of the water slides onto some nearby concrete, according to a story and video provided by The Mercury News.

The $43 million, 31,000 square foot water park is in the middle of its opening weekend. The boy was riding the 3-story Emerald Plunge slide when the incident occurred. Park officials immediately closed the slide, and the nearby “Dublin Screamer,” according to the report.
