BART is recovering from major delays this evening after a passenger fell out of their wheelchair while boarding a train. BART officials first announced the delay on the Daly City line for passengers headed towards the East Bay via Twitter at 5:07 p.m.
BART officials said trains were moving again as of 5:30 p.m., after medical personnel responded to the scene. As of 5:48 p.m. BART was recovering from delays caused by the medical emergency involving the wheelchair as well as an unrelated mechanical problem on a train.
