• Dublin Police Dispatch Phone Line 'Experiencing Intermittent Issues,' City Says (patch.com) — Dublin residents are being advised that the city’s non-emergency police dispatch line is having intermittent phone issues, and to instead use Alameda County’s non-emergency number for assistance. The city says the phone company is working on a fix and stresses that 911 remains the correct number for all emergencies in Dublin.
   

• Federal court halts courthouse immigration arrests by ICE in Bay Area (pleasantonweekly.com) — A new federal court order has halted ICE from making civil immigration arrests at courthouses under the agency’s San Francisco jurisdiction, which includes Alameda County and Dublin residents using Bay Area courts. The ruling responds to a recent Trump-era policy shift that saw dozens of noncitizens detained after court appearances, and finds the change likely violated federal administrative law while chilling people from attending their hearings.
