Blood Donors Could Play Baseball At Oracle Park With Giants Alumni

DUBLIN, CA — Stanford Blood Center is offering a homerun proposition: anyone who donates blood in the month of June will be entered for a chance to attend VIP Fantasy Batting Practice Day with the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park.

The center, which has a location at 3738 Fallon Road in Dublin, said that it is experiencing a critical shortage of Type O blood, though people with all blood types are welcome to donate. Anyone who donates on or before June 30 will be automatically entered to win a trip for two to Oracle Park on July 26 that will include:

• Taking swings from home plate, an outfield station and an infield station
• Fielding balls with Giants alumni
• A Q&A session with Giants alumni
• A free lunch at the Field Club Lounge

Donors to any Stanford Blood Center location will be automatically entered. Appointments can be made online at sbcdonor.org, via the SBC app, or by calling 888-723-7831 or texting 999-777.
