Dublin Student Briefly Loses Consciousness At Large Fight: Police
A fight between 3 DHS students caused two students to be hospitalized, and the school to go under shelter-in-place.
DUBLIN, CA — Three Dublin High School students were involved in a fight that caused one student to lose consciousness, according to Dublin Police Services Captain Miguel Campos. The fight caused the campus to go under shelter-in-place for about an hour.
At 11:52 a.m., DPS received a call reporting that at least 50-100 students were gathered to watch a fight in the Student Union. Units arrived and found that three students were involved, Campos said. One student lost consciousness, but regained full awareness and function before police arrived. That student and another involved student were transported to nearby hospitals. As of Thursday afternoon, their injuries appear to be minor, police said.
The third student involved was not detained, but has been identified, police said. The cause of the fight is still being investigated as of Thursday afternoon.

"During Thursday's lunch at Dublin High, an altercation between several students resulted in a shelter-in-place. Police were called to campus to investigate. The shelter-in-place lasted from approximately noon to 1PM. Once the incident is investigated thoroughly and those involved are identified, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
"While we are incredibly disappointed in the students who caused the altercation, we are also frustrated by the many students who chose to video the altercation rather than disperse when asked, making it difficult for staff to intervene.
"As more information is verified, we will share what we can. That said, we will not release student names or share information that may interfere with an investigation of the incident."
The incident remains under active investigation. Anyone with information or video footage on the fight is asked to contact DPS at 925-833-6670.
