Dim Sum Restaurant Opens In Dublin

Pearl Bay Manor at Hacienda Crossings offers an extensive dim sum menu and comfortable lounges.

DUBLIN, CA — Pearl Bay Manor, a new dim sum restaurant offering everything from dumplings to pumpkins with salted egg yolk, opened at Hacienda Crossings in Dublin, just across from the Regal Hacienda Crossings movie theater.

Pearl Bay Manor is the newest addition to Dublin’s growing list of Asian restaurants, which includes other dim sum restaurants like Koi Palace and the Mayflower Restaurant. The new restaurant offers regular menus and a dim sum lunch menu. While Pearl Bay Manor does not have a website, but reviewers on Yelp mentioned items like minced pork with Japanese tofu in chili garlic sauce, steamed sponge cake, shumai, har gow, veggie and pork in soy bean wrap, and deep fried taro dumplings. Other items mentioned include a pan fried rice roll, fried rice noodles, and beef chow fun.

The new restaurant received an average of 3.7 out of 5 stars, based on 37 reviews. The restaurant also received an average of 4.3 out of 5 stars based on 23 Google reviews.

Most Yelp reviews awarded the restaurant five or four stars, noting tasty food, good service, VIP rooms, and large TV screens.

“A gem for Livermore Valley,” wrote one reviewer. “The dim sum was good and authentic. Need to go back for dinner. The decorum and staff are very welcoming and professional. The atmosphere is modern, but not over the top.”

“Glad to see a new quality Cantonese dim sum place in Dublin. Foods are good and ambiance is nice,” wrote another reviewer. “Service can be a bit slow but hope will improve over time.”
Some one-star reviews complained of long wait times, rude staff, and mediocre food.
