Drunk Driver Crashes Into Police Car In Dublin, Flips Over: CHP
Police said the car slammed hard into a DPS car conducting a traffic stop.
DUBLIN, CA — An alleged drunk driver crashed into a Dublin police car last Thursday while it was on a traffic stop, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to a CHP post, the collision happened on Oct. 30 at around 10:15 p.m. Dublin Police Services officers were conducting a traffic stop when an allegedly drunk driver slammed into the patrol vehicle. The driver reportedly hit the police car so hard that their own car overturned, causing them minor injuries.
The officers were not hurt, according to CHP. CHP said it is investigating the crash and arrest.
