Dublin Approves 'Dublin Marketplace' Municipal Rewards Program

Starting in December, shopping at participating Dublin businesses could earn cash-back rewards.

DUBLIN, CA — Soon, shopping in Dublin could mean you’ll be rewarded with “Dublin Dollars.”

On Tuesday, the Dublin City Council approved “The Dublin Marketplace,” municipal loyalty rewards program. Starting in December, consumers who log purchases at participating Dublin businesses into an app will receive cash-back rewards known as “Dublin Dollars.”

The loyalty rewards program is a central feature of the city’s Business Recovery Playbook. The city used funds from the American Rescue Plan Act stimulus and partnered with app developer Reach to create an app to help businesses and consumers keep track of purchases and rewards.
