Dublin City Council Deadline Approaching
Dublin residents can apply to temporarily fill the former seat of Melissa Hernandez.

DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin City Council is posting a rare vacancy to fill the spot of former Mayor Melissa Hernandez, who resigned to serve on BART’s Board of Directors. The council voted unanimously to appoint Councilmember Michael McCorriston as interim mayor.
The online application for the at-large seat is due Wednesday by 5 p.m. The city council will consider applicants during their June 18 meeting. Applicants must be a resident and registered voter in Dublin.
