Dublin Council To Consider Raising Garbage, Recycling Rates

The council will also vote on an interim council member at a meeting that is likely postponed until next week due to a lack of quorum.

DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin City Council meeting scheduled for June 18 will likely be rescheduled due to a lack of quorum, according to the city. Only three members will be present, so the meeting will be adjourned to Tuesday, June 25.

The council currently has only four members since Mayor Melissa Hernandez resigned to join the board of BART, and the council was scheduled to vote on a new interim member.

The council is also scheduled to confirm the mayor’s proposed appointments to various local boards, commissions, and committees.

In addition to that vote, the council is also scheduled to vote on two separate resolutions to raise garbage and recycling fees a total of 0.92 percent, effective July 1. Garbage and recycling fees are proposed to increase $0.39 a month, to a total of $42.92 a month. See here for more information.
