Dublin Mayor Nomination Deadline Extended
The nomination period is extended since no incumbent has filed to run.

DUBLIN, CA — The nomination period for the position of Dublin mayor has been extended until Wednesday at 5 p.m., since no incumbent has filed papers, the city announced.
Candidates for mayor can contact the City Clerk’s office at 925-833-6650 or city.clerk@dublin.ca.gov to set an appointment to pull nomination papers, which must be returned by appointment by 5 the following day. Eligible candidates must be registered to vote in the city.

So far, Shawn Costello, Sherry Hu, Jing Firmeza, Jean Josey, and Tom Evans have all filed to run for mayor. Mayor Michael McCorriston, who was appointed interim mayor after Melissa Hernandez left to join the BART board, is running to represent District 1 in west Dublin. John Morada and Razi Hasni running to represent District 3 in southeast Dublin.
