Dublin Trail Challenge Encourages Residents To Get Outside
Anyone who walks, hikes, or runs a total of 26 miles in Dublin over the next month will win prizes and bragging rights.

DUBLIN, CA — With the weather finally starting to cool down, Dubliners are invited to get outside and do a marathon. Don't worry: you can walk it over the course of an entire month.
The city of Dublin is relaunching the annual Dublin Trail Challenge, which invites residents to run, walk, or hike a total of 26 miles anywhere within city limits between Sept. 8 and Oct. 10. Anyone who completes the "Dublin 26" will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
The challenge is open to all ages and costs $6.73. To participate, choose any route in the city, then log your walks through the Racejoy app or on Runsignup.com. Registration is available through Oct. 10.

The city has compiled a list of "Recommended Routes." Each trip along an official recommended route will grant a passport stamp. Participants can turn in completed passports during Interactive T-Shirt Pick-Up Day on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Stager Community Gym for a chance to win prizes.
