Earthquake Felt In Bay Area Tuesday Evening

Here's what the U.S. Geological Survey has to say about the earthquake.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude reading of 3.0 was felt in the Bay Area.

The epicenter was Dublin, in the East Bay, according to the United States Geological Survey Shake Map.

The Calaveras Fault, a major branch of the San Andreas Fault, goes through the Tri-Valley.

Dublin also experienced a 3.9 earthquake on March 17, followed by multiple aftershocks.

No information has been received about about injuries or damage.
