Free Adoption For Adult Huskies And Shepherds Today At SPCA
Adopt a Shelter Dog Month aims to find homes for big dogs through a special promotion. Husky and shepherd puppies fees half off.
EAST BAY — The East Bay SPCA is celebrating Adopt a Shelter Dog Month by waiving adoption fees for all adult Huskies and Shepherds, while offering half-off adoption fees for their puppies throughout October.
The promotion, sponsored by Metro Services Group, aims to find homes for these larger breeds and make room for more animals in need.
“We have many deserving dogs looking for their forever homes,” the organization stated.

Here is a sampling of the adorable dogs available.
Adoption centers in Oakland and Dublin are open Wednesday through Sunday. Adoption hours are 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
