Dublin Prison Searched By FBI: Reports
The FBI confirmed the presence of agents on the grounds of the scandal-plagued prison Monday.

DUBLIN, CA - Federal investigators collected computers and documents Monday from FCI Dublin, according to an Associated Press report. The FBI confirmed to both the AP and KTVU that agents were on the premises.
“I can confirm we conducted court-authorized law enforcement activity at that location,” FBI spokesperson Cameron Polan told the outlets. “I am unable to comment further at this time.”
An anonymous source told the AP that the warden, associate warden, and captain were removed from the prison during the investigation.

The federal women’s prison has been the topic of scrutiny since a 2022 AP report exposed that numerous employees had sexually assaulted inmates. In the following months, seven officers, including former warden Ray Garcia, were found guilty of sexual assault and sentenced to several years in prison. An eighth officer has been charged.
On Friday, outlets reported that more than a dozen more civil lawsuits were filed against the prison on behalf of inmates, alleging that officers forced them to perform a variety of sex acts, and threatened disciplinary action, including deportation, if they did not. A total of 63 lawsuits have been filed against the prison, KTVU reported. More suits are expected.
