Fireworks Packets Now Available to Dublin Non-Profits
Each year, the City of Dublin allows non-profits to sell fireworks from noon on June 28 until noon on July 5.
DUBLIN, CA -- Independence Day 2019 is right around the corner, and the City of Dublin has opened its annual process for non-profit organizations to apply for and receive fireworks to sell in conjunction with the 4th of July.
Safe and Sane Fireworks are allowed to be sold in the City of Dublin each year, beginning at noon on June 28 and ending at noon on July 5, by non-profit organizations that meet the requirements set forth in Dublin Municipal Code Chapter 5.24.
Each spring, non-profit organizations interested in having a booth must fill out a current fireworks packet and submit the necessary documents to Dublin City Hall.

Packets were mailed March 4 to non-profit organizations in the City of Dublin that have sold fireworks in the past. Organizations may also pick up a packet from Dublin City Hall or download the current packet.
Important Dates to Remember:

- Deadline for complete packet submittals: 4 pm Friday, April 26.
- Fireworks Booth Drawing: 10 am Thursday, May 2 in the Council Chamber at Dublin City Hall. A representative from the organization must be present.
- Deadline for chosen organizations to submit remaining paperwork to City Hall: 4 p.m Friday, May 31.
- Booth Inspections: Thursday, June 27.
The City of Dublin has four designated parks where the use of fireworks are permitted between 10 am and 10 pm on the 4th of July only. No fireworks of any type are permitted at Dublin multi-housing units or at any undesignated Dublin park, other city facility, or school.
The City of Dublin has a zero-tolerance policy for illegal fireworks. Those caught using illegal fireworks will be fined the maximum penalties allowed by state law, and could face jail time. Learn more about fireworks and fireworks usage in the City of Dublin.
