DUBLIN, CA — The city of Dublin is looking for photos of Heritage Park to display at an upcoming exhibition, “The Memories Within: Seeking Heritage." The exhibition honoring the historic site will be held at the Murray Schoolhouse from August to February.
The community is asked to submit up to five titled images highlighting unique perspectives of Heritage Park. Photos should be sent to heritagepark@dublin.ca.gov with the applicant’s name, contact information, image size, and location by 11:59 p.m. on July 11. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Dublin Heritage Park and Museum is a more than 200-year-old site at the crossroads of two important stagecoach routes. The Alamilla Spring provided a place for travelers to change horses and recharge before continuing their journeys. The site later became home to several adobe buildings, where workers made items for Jose Maria Amador’s ranch. Today, Heritage Park is a ten-acre park with historic buildings, lawns, the Pioneer Cemetery, and picnic areas.
